Reneé Graham, RDH, MEd
Renee’ Graham is the Southeast Clinical Educator for DENTSPLY Professional. Renee’ received a dental hygiene degree from Darton College and both a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education degree from Valdosta State University. Renee’ brings 19 years of clinical experience in general and periodontal practices and 11 years of academic experience to the Division. For the past ten years, she has held the position of Director of Dental Programs at Valdosta Technical College in Valdosta, Georgia.
Renee’ has served as a site visitor for the Commission on Dental Accreditation since 2003 and has been very active with regional testing agencies, the Georgia Dental Hygiene Educators Association, and dental hygiene/ dental assisting curriculum development for the State of Georgia.

Gail Malone, RDH, BS
Gail Malone is a Clinical Educator for DENTSPLY Professional serving the Northeast Region of the US. She received her dental hygiene degree from Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, PA and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA, where she served as adjunct faculty. Gail’s experience of more than 20 years in dentistry includes clinical practice, dental hygiene education, dental practice management and dental distribution.
Gail has lectured internationally, nationally and at the state and local level on ultrasonics, local anesthesia and a variety of other topics. Her focus is to provide dental professionals with current scientific research and information to assist them in implementing effective and efficient evidence based treatment protocols in their clinical practice.

Shirley Branam, RDH, MBA
Shirley is the Central Clinical Educator for DENTSPLY Professional. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan and continued on to complete a Master of Business Administration degree in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix. Shirley’s background includes over 20 years in clinical and educational experience in the dental assisting and dental hygiene professions. While a member of the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry, she held various appointments including hygiene faculty member, staff hygienist in the Graduate Prosthodontic Clinic, and research coordinator assistant. Her areas of expertise include clinical dental hygiene, biomaterials, implants, and local anesthesia.
She currently lectures, national and internationally, for DENTSPLY Professional covering topics on ultrasonic instrumentation, anesthesia, caries risk assessment and implant maintenance.

Doreen Johnson, RDH, MEd
Doreen Smeltzer, RDH, MA. Ed. is a Clinical Educator for DENTSPLY Professional covering the Midwest Region of the U.S. She came to DENTSPLY with 21 years of clinical expertise and 10 years experience as a Dental Hygiene Educator. She is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine holding a certification as a Dental Assistant and a registered Dental Hygienist. She received her bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University in education and a master’s degree from National Louis University in adult education. She also serves as an active Dental Hygiene Consulting Examiner for the North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners.
Doreen has developed and presented educational programs to dental and dental hygiene students, professional associations, dental societies and study clubs both nationally and internationally. Her focus is to provide dental professionals with current scientific research and information to assist them in implementing effective and efficient evidence based treatment protocols in their clinical practice.

Theresa Johnson, RDH, MBA, Clinical Educator
Theresa Johnson is the Clinical Educator for DENTSPLY Professional, serving the Southwestern United States. Theresa received her dental hygiene degree from Shawnee State University a Bachelor of Technical and Applied Science from Ohio University and her MBA from Mount Vernon
Nazarene University. A practicing clinician for more than twenty years, Theresa uses her
own clinical experiences to enhance and provide insight in her programs. Theresa’s experience in dentistry includes clinical practice, education and dental office practice management.
Theresa currently serves as a delegate to the Texas Dental Hygienists Association for the Austin Dental Hygiene Association and is actively involved in her component. She has helped develop orientation and mentoring programs with new members. Theresa’s focus is to provide dental
professionals with current scientific research and information to assist them in implementing effective and efficient evidence based treatment protocols in their clinical practice.

Marianne Dryer, RDH, MEd
Marianne Dryer is the Clinical Educator for DENTSPLY Professional covering the Northeast Region of the U.S. She is a graduate of the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in Boston, MA, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. She completed her Master of Education degree from St. Joseph's College of Maine.
Marianne’s experience in dentistry spans almost 30 years as a clinician and an educator. She has developed and presented educational programs to dental hygiene students and professional associations covering topics from periodontal instrumentation, evidence based decision making and caries risk protocols. Marianne is also a Periodontal Instrumentation instructor for DH Methods of Education, Inc., an educational program for dental and dental hygiene faculty. She participates regularly in a variety of community service events including mission trips to Romania. Her focus is to provide dental professionals with scientific evidence based research on various topics including current concepts in periodontal therapy, caries risk management, pain control, hypersensitivity and integrating new technologies into clinical practice.
